UnderPatch. How are they used and what are they for?
The underpatches are placed under the insulin pump or sensor to avoid redness and allergies.
Patches for Omnipods have a small hole through which the delicate Teflon cannula passes. No hole is provided in patches for sensor.
When the sensor is placed over the patch and the button is pressed to insert the filament under the skin, the guide needle will pierce the patch and then the skin.
The patches are made of fabric, which is why the sensor/pump guide needle can pass through the mesh of the fabric without scratching the patch.
The patches are made with top quality materials, and are free of rosin and acryl isobormil, which are often responsible for redness and allergies in sensitive individuals.

In each package you will find a "mini" patch, so you can test it and be sure it doesen't cause irritation.

We trust the quality of our products and we offer the free return if you experience irritations or redness.

To ensure maximum adhesion to the skin, we recommend not wetting the patch during the first 5 hours after application.
