UnderPatchHow are they used and what are they for?
The underpatches are placed under the insulin pump or sensor to avoid redness and allergies.
Patches for Omnipods have a small hole through which the delicate Teflon cannula will pass, while no hole is foreseen for the sensors.
When the sensor is positioned over the patch and the button is pressed to insert the filament under the skin, the guide needle will pierce the patch and then the skin.
The patches are made of fabric, which is why the sensor/pump guide needle can pass through the mesh of the fabric without scratching the patch.
The patches are made with the best products, boast the absence of rosin and acryl isobormil, very often responsible for redness and allergies in the most delicate subjects.

In each package you will find a "mini" patch, try it to be sure you have no irritation.
We are so confident in the quality of our product that we offer free returns should you experience any redness or irritation when testing the mini patch!
