Mastisol adhesive booster

Mastisol is a clear, non‑irritating, water‑resistant adhesive liquid used to secure and protect glucose sensors, infusion sets for insulin pumps, and patch pumps. It is packaged in single‑use vials.
 
 
Mastisol creates a protective barrier between the skin and the device, reducing the risk of adverse reactions such as contact dermatitis and skin irritation, and minimizing the risk of infection.
 
 
Mastisol enhances user safety by preventing infusion‑set dislodgement, which can lead to hyperglycemia and ketoacidosis. It also eliminates the need for additional unsightly adhesive tapes that can cause skin occlusion and are difficult to remove. It can also be successfully used to secure ostomy bags.
